Voting has to be made compulsory. An individual who votes has to get an unique identity number which has to be made mandatory while filling any official (government and private) forms.Both Parliament and State Legislature elections should have their respective identity numbers.These numbers should get updated during every election. Initially for the sake of getting these numbers people will walk to the election booth and cast vote. As the days pass, people will actually think and cast their vote. People who are staying far away from their mentioned election booth or having severe medical reasons has to get these numbers from either nearest election booth or nearest alternative place (may be BBMP kind of places).
Though there is an increase in the voting percentage compared 2009 elections, it is really sad to see the least voting numbers even after being informed about its importance. Lot of money spent and efforts made has not completely met its intention. People who doesn't vote should stop providing lame reasons for not voting. Efforts taken by people to vote is always admired and appreciated.
